Let’s take a look at Toyota’s current SUV lineup for 2024.

2024 Toyota Corolla Cross

Coming in as the smallest entrant in Toyota’s SUV lineup, the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross promises the convenience of a crossover paired with the driving ease and experience of a smaller car. Designed with a sporty flair in mind, the blend of car and SUV works very well for the little Corolla Cross. The Corolla Cross comes standard with front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is optional. A conventional and hybrid powertrain is available, along with three trim levels beginning with the entry-level L, mid-range LE, and top-end XLE. Prices start at $23,860.

2024 Toyota bZ4X

The Toyota bZ4X is a battery-electric SUV. Toyota reports a near-silent driving experience thanks to the lack of an internal combustion engine. EV-exclusive instant torque and smooth acceleration make for a cool, calm, and collected SUV. Along with the futuristic powertrain comes a futuristic look, exemplified by the bZ4X’s front fascia. The bZ4X attained an EPA-estimated maximum driving range of 252 miles, and buyers have a choice between front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Prices start at $43,070.

2024 Toyota RAV4

The Toyota RAV4 is one of Toyota’s most famous SUVs and currently enjoys being Toyota’s best-selling SUV along with being the best-selling non-pickup in the United States. It offers some of the best all-around performance regarding what SUVs could be used for, from off-roading to getting groceries. The 2024 RAV4 is styled alongside Toyota’s current design language, featuring a robust front fascia and squared wheel arches. A total of six trim levels are offered including the base LE, along with XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure, TRD Off-Road, and top-end Limited trims. Hybrid and conventional powertrains are available. Front-wheel drive is standard, though buyers can opt for either all-wheel drive or Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD. Pricing begins at $28,675.

2024 Toyota Venza

Toyota’s mid-size Venza SUV enjoyed a resurrection in 2021, following a six-year hiatus. Offering a higher-class experience, the Toyota Venza is powered by Toyota’s Hybrid Electric Vehicle System. This system, in conjunction with the aforementioned hybrid powertrain, also takes advantage of Super Ultra Low Emissions technology, allowing for great fuel economy. The 2024 Venza boasts an EPA-estimated 39 MPG combined utilizing its 219-horsepower powerplant. Four trim levels are available, starting with the base LE, mid-range XLE, and top-end Limited trims. A Nightshade trim is also available which is exclusive to Venza. As of now, prices start at around $35,000.

2024 Toyota Highlander

Another popular Toyota SUV is the Highlander, which has enjoyed uninterrupted popularity since its 2001 introduction. Now in its fourth generation, it remains an extremely popular choice amongst families. The 2024 Highlander offers two powertrain options: the base 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and the 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid. If you opt for the hybrid, you’ll enjoy a Toyota-estimated maximum combined 36 MPG. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are available, along with a cabin packed with tons of new technology. Six trim levels come on the 2024 Toyota Highlander, including the base LE and LE Nightshade, mid-range XLE, and XLE Nightshade, and top-line trims Limited and Platinum. Pricing begins at $39,270.

2024 Toyota Grand Highlander

All-new for 2024, the Toyota Grand Highlander takes the regular Highlander one step further. Featuring a longer and wider body, the Grand Highlander positions itself as a well-rounded three-row SUV for all. Toyota utilizes a choice between three powertrains for the Grand Highlander: the base 2.4-liter turbocharged I4 and 2.5-liter hybrid I4 shared with the regular Highlander, along with a Grand Highlander-exclusive 2.4-liter turbocharged Hybrid MAX engine, which is capable of 362 horsepower and 400 lb-ft torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive being optional. For the domestic model, three trims are offered beginning with the base XLE, mid-grade Limited, and top-line Platinum. Prices are set to begin at $43,320 for the FWD XLE model.

2024 Toyota 4Runner

While models like the Highlander and Venza enjoy popularity for being family vehicles, the 4Runner has had off-roading in its blood for 40 years. Beginning life in 1984 as a two-door Sport Utility Vehicle, it was, and still is, a smart choice for those who lived or played off the beaten path. Even the name 4Runner was conceived with all-terrain capability in mind, with the “4” standing for four-wheel drive, and “Runner” standing for its ability to, literally, run off-road. The 4Runner is currently in its fifth generation and has remained the same design for 14 years, albeit with tons of upgrades since then. For model year 2024, the 4Runner comes in seven different trim levels, ranging from the base SR5, up through the TRD Sport, SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, Limited, and TRD Pro. The 4Runner offers an entry-level price of $40,455.

2024 Toyota Sequoia

Coming in as the largest SUV Toyota offers, the Sequoia’s bigness is exemplified by its name derived from the massive West Coast redwood forest. The Sequoia boasts three full rows of seating with room for eight, along with almost 90 cubic feet of total cargo space. Powering the big Sequoia is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo hybrid V6 producing 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft torque mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Using this powerful engine, the Sequoia is capable of towing a maximum of 9,520 pounds. Five trim levels are offered starting with a base SR5, mid-range Limited and Platinum trims, and top-of-the-line TRD Pro and Capstone trims. Pricing begins at $61,275.

2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

Toyota’s famous Land Cruiser is coming back into the fold for 2024. While it’s not yet available, Toyota expects deliveries to begin around spring 2024.

Toyota’s SUV lineup is an impressive display of Toyota’s expertise in practicality, as well as durability. Do you see one of these SUVs in your driveway soon?
