Genesis has been busy creating concepts new models to expand the lineup. The final offering was the Genesis X which is a concept model.
This model is expected to represent a sustainable level of luxury and take the Athletic Elegance design language to a fully-electric grand tourer to drive.
The Genesis Design Language Translated Perfectly
The new Genesis X is a car that takes all of the design elements we’ve seen in other models new from the brand and puts them all together. This car is low, long, wide, and offers you the look of an elegant and amazing vehicle that will be fun to drive. When you see this new concept car, you’ll want to get inside and take it for a spin out on the road.
Looking at some of the elements of the new Genesis X concept you’ll see the diamond-shaped Crest Grille that’s wide and stretches across most of the front of this car. You’ll also see ultra-thin headlights that are found in the upper part of the front face. The headlights move around and down the sides of the car to cut across the wheel arches giving this car a sporty appearance that will give you an attractive look.
Finishing Off the Looks of the Genesis X
There are three hard creases found along the sides of this concept car and the signature Parabolic Line moves along an arch from the hood to the tail of this car. You’ll see digital side mirrors which make it easy to keep the clean lines desired. The wheels are large five-spoke two-layer models that give an excellent style that can be perfect for you during your drive.
Sustainable Items in the Cabin
The cabin area of the Genesis X has crafted features that offer you a place that has materials that work great and look amazing. A scotch brown weave is seen on the steering wheel, seatbelts, and airbag covers. There’s a floating center console which gives this car the look of an open area to give you the experience you want when you’re driving. This overall appearance is pleasant, futuristic, and amazing.
Something Specifically Cool in the Genesis X
The center console features a Crystal Sphere Electronic Shift Lever. This lever spins around to offer the shift options when the car is powered on to make sure you can have the right direction selected when you’re ready to drive. This is a feature that we might see make it to other models in the Genesis line but for now, it’s only offered in this one concept model.
For now, the Genesis X is a concept but it’s certainly a car that we want to see make it to the production line. If this car does, we might be seeing the first luxury Grand Tourer from the brand that can be the performance model that we want to take out for a drive.
