A Few Chevrolet Corvette Yenko Models Coming Soon

The excitement around the Chevrolet Corvette continues to grow and with the new mid-engine model on the horizon, some shoppers might want to have the ability to enjoy the power that shows up with four digits in the number.
There will be a lucky group of new Corvette owners who will have this pleasure and be able to have a new Corvette and take it out on the track to enjoy some amazing fun as they run a fast loop around the track or are shown off as the owners take them out for the errands that need to be executed for the day.

What is the New Yenko Corvette?

The team at Specialty Vehicle Engineering has put the Chevrolet Corvette through the works to offer 25 lucky owners with the ability to enjoy the new 2019 Yenko/SC Stage II 1,000 horsepower Corvette. This new version of the car is based on the Grand Sport model but it brings in the benefit of 540 more horsepower than the Grand Sport to give you a car that can truly take the track by storm. This is the car that will leave those who have come to the track with a Hellcat or Demon in the dust.
In order to accomplish the feat of putting 1,000 horsepower under the hood, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has made some serious improvements to the engine. The 6.2-liter LT 1 V8 engine has been upgraded with a forged crankshaft and H-beam rods, forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported LT4 heads, an upgraded fuel system, a higher flow exhaust system, and a high output supercharger to make sure you can have more power. If you’ve got somewhere to go and need to get there fast, this is the car that will get the job done.

Not Hiding the Power

This new Chevrolet Corvette, even though it’s extremely limited in number, will showcase the fact that it’s a Yenko and that it has the power of 1,000 horses galloping under the hood. It does this with a special decal package that includes a gorgeous roof stripe, a belt-line stripe that shows off the Yenko name, and badging that spells out 1000HP to make sure no one would ever think this car had any less. The Yenko name is also added inside the car to give you more ways to showcase what it is when you take it out for a drive.
While the power number is impressive, there isn’t any mention from Specialty Vehicle Engineering to tell us that this car has had any upgrades to the suspension or chassis. There is a clutch added to the manual models, but you might find this car to be one that’s a monster to drive when you take it to the track. Even so, if you are one of the lucky few who has the ability to purchase this Corvette and enjoy what it brings for your drive, you will receive the 36,000-mile drivetrain warranty that’s offered on all Chevrolet models.
