This is a test of the driving skills and the drivability of the vehicle chosen to see who makes it to the top of the board.

The Rules

Braking Challenge – Starting at the line the vehicle has to accelerate to 50 mph, except the truck which is to reach 40 mph, and then the goal is to stop the vehicle inside the braking zone that’s been set up. The braking can’t begin until a set of flags have been reached and then the goal is to make it to the braking zone for the stop.
Slalom Challenge – During this challenge the vehicle must maintain a speed of 20 mph for the cars or 15 mph for the trucks and points are taken away if the vehicle slows down below these marks or the vehicle hits one of the cones along the course. This is a test to see how the vehicle handles and how well the driver can make it through the curse.
Reverse Slalom – There’s no speed requirement for this part of the course but points are deducted for any time the vehicle runs into and knocking down any of the cones. Going in reverse the idea is to make it through the slalom course without any issues in order to be successful at finishing the course.
Parking Challenge – After the reverse slalom the vehicle must be parallel parked and points are taken off for adjustments and hitting cones or the curb. After the vehicle is parked the temperature of the engine will be taken and the vehicle with the hottest engine will lose points to reach a complete total of what has been experienced during this challenge.

The Results

Four different editors from the Auto Guide Team took to the course to see how they would do, which you can enjoy in the video linked below. Using a variety of models for the ride the results were certainly varied among the four with a showing that was impressive but also showed some need for improvement in driving. Here are the results:
Fourth Place – Alex had 69 points
Third Place – Sammy had 77 points
Second Place – Steven 80 points (hotter engine)
Winner – Jodi 80 points
It’s pretty obvious these teams had a lot of fun being challenged and experience this test when they took to the AC Delco Restore and Ride Challenge that certainly looks like a lot of fun for the drive. Take a look at this video and see the drives and the fun offered by this team and the challenge they participated in for some fun and activity.

Whether it’s because they are car nuts, like most of us, or because they wanted to be the next set of guinea pigs for a

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[1
68,67
post-76","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized","tag-ac-delco-restore-and-ride-challenge","tag-auto-guide-team

https://i0.wp.com/automarketwatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/The-Auto-Guide-Team-Takes-on-a-Challenge.jpg?fit=1000%2C523&ssl=1
["GET
