Everyone knows that Toyota used cars are some of the most sought-after vehicles on the market today. That’s because Toyota knows how to build automobiles that will last. Even if you’re on the hunt for a pickup truck, it’s worth looking at Toyota used cars for sale. In fact, a used Toyota Tundra is often the go-to truck for drivers who want capability, longevity, and affordability.

If you’re looking at Toyota used cars and are considering a pre-owned Tundra, here are some models you should consider:

It would only make sense that a newer version of the Toyota Tundra would be one of the best ones to own. This full-size pickup has a number of special editions for the 2021 model year that help it stand out. For example, the 1794 edition gives you everything you get on the Platinum trim but adds chrome accents to the exterior trim.

Since the 2021 Tundra hasn’t been out for too long, you should still be able to find one with low miles and a transferrable warranty. More importantly, you’ll avoid the majority of the depreciation that comes with owning a brand new truck.

If you want a mixture of modern technology and an excellent price, the 2016 model is a great option. The Tundra went through a significant redesign in 2014 that really upped this truck’s game. By 2016, Toyota had all of the kinks worked out and produced one fine ride.

While you won’t be able to find any certified pre-owned versions of the 2016 Tundra available today, you can certainly find one with plenty of life left in it, especially if you find one with the powerful 5.7-liter engine option.

Owners and critics alike agree that 2008 was an incredible year for the Toyota Tundra. There were very few issues reported with this model, even after over a decade on the road. While a truck this old may not come with all of the modern features you crave, it’s one of the most reliable models Toyota has ever made. The best part is that you should be able to find one of these for a fantastic price and tons of miles left under the hood.

While an older model Tundra will keep working for you years after you bring it home, there is one model that didn’t quite live up to this truck’s reputation. While most Toyota used cars earn rave reviews, the 2006 Tundra is worth skipping. Reliability scores were lower, complaints were higher, and it simply hasn’t aged as well as its other versions.

The 2016 Tundra Is a Solid Choice
