Infiniti SUV Lineup: Which One’s for You?

How well do you know the Infiniti SUV lineup? Infiniti models bring excellent craftsmanship, impressive engineering, and luxury features to your drive.

The luxury arm of Nissan is Infiniti. For many years, this brand has brought some impressive vehicles to the market, giving us some excellent models to provide driving pleasure to the masses. If you admire this brand and what it stands for, you’ll probably enjoy one of the four SUVs offered.

Let’s take a closer look at the Infiniti SUV lineup to see what’s offered.

Infiniti QX50

The QX50 is an excellent choice in the compact luxury SUV market. This SUV provides some fully equipped lower trims with affordable pricing, and some excellent features at higher trims that cost a bit more. For the most part, the QX50 stays under the radar, with most rivals taking the spotlight away from this SUV.

You’ll find a roomy interior with comfortable seating in the cabin of the Infiniti QX50. This SUV has a set of heated front seats in most trims and ventilation for these seats that comes in the Essential trim. The infotainment system still features a dual-screen setup, which might be a little dated but is still charming. Behind the rear seats, you’ll find 39.3 cubic feet of cargo room, which increases to 68.3 cubic feet when folded.

Every version of the Infiniti QX50 uses a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a CVT to send power to the front wheels. You can add AWD to the mix if you want all four wheels to have power.

Infiniti QX55

There’s a coupe-style model in the Infiniti SUV lineup, and that is the QX55. This model slots between the QX50 and QX60 to offer a sporty build and unique style. The QX55 provides the coupe-like SUV build at a lower price than most of its rivals, making it one of the most stylish and impressive choices offered.

Like the QX50, this coupe model has a dual-touchscreen layout to handle your infotainment needs. The front seats are comfortable, giving you the power and heating you desire. The sloped roofline cuts into the cargo room, reducing it to 26.9 cubic feet behind the rear seat with only 54.1 cubic feet when these seats are folded.

Power for this stylish Infiniti SUV comes from the same 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine as the QX50, delivering the same power. The QX55 is set up with standard AWD, which makes this SUV more capable and fun.

Infiniti QX60

Moving up to the midsize luxury SUV class, you’ll find the three-row Infiniti QX60. This model is filled with impressive premium features to give you the desired driving experience. The addition of a third-row seat makes it easy to take a large family for a drive in this SUV. This rearmost row has a clever one-touch tilt-and-slide seating system, making it one of the best options in the Infiniti SUV lineup.

The front seats are comfortable and covered in leather, which is standard for the front two rows. You’ll enjoy a useful infotainment system in the QX60, which is easy to use and enjoy. Behind the third row, you’ll find 14.5 cubic feet of cargo space, 41,6 cubic feet behind the second row, and 75.4 cubes behind the front seats.

Power for the Infiniti QX60 comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. This power reaches the wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Infiniti QX80

The Infiniti QX80 is the full-size SUV offered by this luxury brand. This model is a bit expensive, but it comes with a full slate of impressive features that make it comfortable and easy to enjoy. The standard V8 engine gives this vehicle the drive and power desired.

The QX80 features a luxurious and roomy cabin with lots of space in the first two rows. This might be the biggest SUV in the Infiniti SUV lineup, but the third row is a little tight, making it good for kids but not adults. The cargo room in the QX80 measures 16.6 cubic feet behind the third row, 49.6 cubes behind the second row, and 95.1 cubes behind the first row.

The 5.6-liter V8 engine is good for 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. This power is senet to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission, giving this SUV good towing power when you want to take a trailer with you.
