Two engines provide plenty of power
The Jeep Patriot was small and one of the most affordable SUVs in the market. In 2017, this little Jeep came with two engines and three transmissions. Other than the CVT and 6-speed automatic, this Jeep could be had with a 5-speed manual transmission as well. The engines offered are:

2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine
172 horsepower, 165 lb-ft of torque

The standard features for the Patriot include having to roll the windows down, manually lock your doors, and have no air conditioning. You do get to enjoy the benefit of cruise control, a four-speaker audio system with an auxiliary input, SiriusXM satellite radio, and hand’s-free connectivity. Moving to the Latitude model you will have the power windows and locks along with air conditioning as well as heated front seats, a power outlet, keyless entry, and automatic headlights.
The Patriot gets even better with the options you can add to the mix. This SUV gives you the ability to add Freedom Drive 4WD, a leather-trimmed steering wheel with built-in audio controls, heated front seats, 17-inch wheels, an improved infotainment and navigation system, a 6.5-inch touch screen, a leather interior, a power adjustable driver’s seat, a sunroof, a rearview camera, and an upgraded touch screen audio system.
