What's in Store for Hyundai in 2024?

When you head to a Hyundai dealership later this year, you’ll see a redesigned Hyundai Kona and Kona EV, and a new Santa Fe.

Each model year brings new models and updates to every manufacturer’s lineup, and Hyundai will ride into 2024 with some changes to two of their popular crossover SUVs. Want to know more about what’s changed?

Take a look.

A New Look for the 2024 Hyundai Kona

The 2024 Hyundai Kona will have a more distinct, futuristic exterior style, but this is not where the changes end. It will be longer and wider than the previous model year, giving passengers more space in the cabin. While we are on the subject of the cabin, it will now come with two 12.3-inch display screens across the entire lineup, one for the infotainment system and the other is the digital information display in front of the driver.

Updates For the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe has a wildly new look for 2024. This Hyundai SUV is much larger and has a longer wheelbase. It’s also taller, it has a more squared-off design and offers the option to ride on massive 21-inch wheels. Inside the next-generation Santa Fe, you’ll find a more spacious cabin with an open concept to make it feel even larger. The cargo area stretches to 26 cubic feet, and the liftgate is larger to make it easier to load and unload.

The new technology and features in the Santa Fe give it an upscale feel. The dash has a single curved panel that serves as a housing for a 12.3-inch screen for the infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Front-seat passengers who want to kick back and relax can deploy the available footrests, and the second-row captain’s chairs will be available with a power adjustment.

The Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz is the only pickup truck you’ll find when you head to a Hyundai dealership. Unlike the Kona and Santa Fe, it’s not getting a major update for 2024, but it will be available in a new trim level. The XRT is a more rugged-looking version of the Santa Cruz with black exterior trim elements, wider fender cladding, and side steps. The XRT makes some extra equipment standard too. It has LED interior lighting, roof rails, an integrated tonneau cover, and a sunroof.

The bed is made even more versatile with the C-channel utility tracks that can hold equipment such as mountain bikes. Enjoy riding or adventuring until the sun sets when you have the Santa Cruz XRT. It has bed lighting so you can see to put your gear away even after dark.

The 2024 Santa Cruz XRT will also come with two 10.3-inch display screens, voice commands for the infotainment system, and a wireless charging pad.

The Small Changes Make a Difference Too

The rest of the Hyundai SUV lineup receives some small changes for 2024. The Tucson has some updates to the engine lineup, and it receives some new standard safety features. The Palisade is the only SUV to carry over without any changes.
