The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is set to excite drivers in the coming years with its unique mix of
SUV comfort and sports car soul. To be sure, the Blazer EV is only one of many EV models set
to launch in 2023 and 2024. In fact, Chevrolet has two other EV models coming to market,
including the Equinox EV and the Silverado EV. Let’s take a look at what makes the Blazer EV
stand out.
Attractive Styling and Excellent Performance
The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV definitely stands out in the looks category. At first glance from the
side, it appears to be a standard crossover, but the front and rear angled views show its sports
car lines. The Blazer EV is built around the Ultium battery platform which gives it excellent
range.
The Chevy Blazer EV is expected to offer several range options and FWD, RWD, and AWD
layouts. The power output and range aren’t known for each trim yet, but Chevrolet claims that
the Blazer EV can achieve a maximum of 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque.
Chevrolet also claims that the Blazer EV can go zero to 60 MPH in under four seconds. The
driving range is expected to top out at 320 miles with the longest-range trim.
Trims and Specs
Plenty of cool features will be available on the Chevy Blazer EV, including various wheel sizes
of 19, 21, and 22 inches, several different color schemes, and dual-element LED lighting. Inside,
the Blazer EV is incredibly modern with a layout geared toward comfort. The interior features
many premium and soft-touch materials, different color themes, ambient lighting, and contrast
stitching.
Naturally, the tech offered in the Blazer EV is cutting-edge. It starts with a huge 17.7-inch
diagonal display screen and an 11-inch display screen for driver information. Chevrolet also
confirms that the Blazer EV will get the latest available infotainment system and plenty of driver-
assistance technology. Some of the features should include hands-free start, smartphone
integration, navigation, and Super Cruise.
The Chevy Blazer EV will come in four trims: the 1LT, 2LT, RS, and SS. The top SS trim is likely
to offer the maximum horsepower output and other sporty options.
Price and Availability
The pre-order season for the Chevy Blazer EV is already over with all units sold out. However,
the 2LT and RS trims should hit the market this summer with a price range between $47,595
and $51,995. You’ll have to wait a bit longer for the other trims to come out. The SS trim is likely
to hit the market in the fall, but the base 1LT trim probably won’t be available until the first
quarter of 2024.
The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV will also be produced as a Police Pursuit Vehicle. This trim is likely
to be even more powerful than the SS trim.
Currently, pre-orders are not available due to higher-than-expected demand, but once
production is consolidated, it should be available again.
