Introducing the 2022 Hyundai Sonata

The Hyundai Sonata has been an excellent choice for families who crave a stylish, peppy, and loaded sedan at an attractive price. This mid-size car comes with tons of different trims, powertrain choices, and options.

The newest model year of the Hyundai Sonata is easily the best one yet. If you’re looking for a sedan that will last, stop by your local Hyundai dealer and check out the 2022 Hyundai Sonata.

Five Potent Models

The Sonata comes in five different trim levels, each with its own unique way of taking on the open road. There is also a Sonata variant that uses a hybrid powertrain that is worth a look. This eco-friendly ride is reported to offer up to 50 mpg in the city and 54 on the highway.

The base-level SE trim offers the most attractive price tag while being well equipped. This model comes with a 2.5-liter engine that produces 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The next step up is the SEL trim that adds a number of perks like keyless entry/push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. You can even opt for the Convenience package that adds things like a sunroof, rear climate vents, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Drivers who go with the SEL Plus get everything that comes on previous models, but they get to enjoy a few extra perks, including a more powerful engine. The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine makes 180 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. They also get an updated Bose sound system, 19-inch wheels, and simulated leather seating inserts. This turbo engine delivers an EPA-estimated 36 mpg city/highway combined.

The Limited trim continues to build on previous models with a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and additional driver-assist safety systems. Those who want a top-performing sedan love the N Line. This model is equipped with the SEL Plus but adds a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine (290 hp; 311 lb-ft of torque), sport-tuned suspension, and unique N Line styling details. The N Line’s more powerful engine earns 33 mpg city/highway combined.

Always Connected

The Hyundai Sonata will certainly deliver if you love having access to the latest and greatest technology. It comes standard with an eight-inch center touchscreen infotainment center. Some models also come with a 12.1-inch digital gauge cluster. You can also enjoy features like in-dash navigation, wireless charging, and more.

What really makes his Hyundai sedan stand out is the new Hyundai Digital Key feature. This system allows you to use your smartphone to replace your physical key. It uses near-field communication to access door locks and the engine start functionality. You can also control other elements of your car remotely. If you’re active and carrying a key fob will cramp your style, the Digital Key is for you.
