Rearview Mirror: The Stocks We Love to Talk About from 3/15-3/19

How did the stocks we love to talk about perform last week? Let’s take a look in the rearview mirror and see how these seven performed.

This review brings us closer to the final week of the quarter when we will offer a review of the performance of each stock for the entire quarter.

Nio Inc. (NIO)

Nio Inc. started last week at $45.31 and stayed fairly flat until taking a drop to begin Wednesday. At that point in the week, the price was $41.55 which quickly recovered to reach close to $45.00 per share before the start of Thursday. NIO then slowly fell on Thursday and opened Friday at the weekly low of $40.73. The final closing price was $43.33 showing a loss for investors.

Ferrari (RACE)

If you’re looking at one of the stocks we love and reviewing Ferrari last week, you would notice that it stayed relatively flat all week. The price began at $195.30 and move to a high point for the week on Wednesday of $197.54. The closing price for this stock came in at $197.14, which gave investors a small profit for last week.

General Motors (GM)

GM began last week at $58.58 and it made some strong moves upward toward the end of the week to give investors good returns on their money. This is one of the stocks we love to review because of how long this company has been in the market. The price of GM stock reached a high of $61.90 on Thursday before moving back down a bit to end the week at $59.82.

Toyota Motor Corp. (TM)

The Toyota stock price began last week at $153.31 and it stayed relatively flat until the opening point on Thursday. When Thursday began, the price of Toyota stock jumped to$157.80 and it continued to move upward a little throughout the day. Friday gave us a closing price of $158.66 to show us a stock that returned impressive profits to investors last week.

Harley-Davidson (HOG)

After a good week before the one we’re looking at, Harley-Davidson broke our hearts as one of the stocks we love to review. This stock began last week at $38.93 but steadily declined all week long. The low for the week took place at the open of Friday when this stock hit $35.01 before closing the week at $35.30. Hopefully, this stock will find its way back up to where it was when the week began.

Tata Motors (TTM)

Tata Motors began the week at a relatively nice price of $21.79 per share before it dropped off a cliff to begin the day on Wednesday. This price was $20.72 which was the low price for the week. The price began to move back upward toward where the week began. When Tata ended the week the price was $21.23, which means this stock showed a small loss for the week.

Ford(F)

The final one of the seven stocks we love to review is Ford. This stock is one of the most affordable you can invest in right now and it began last week at $13.33. The stock reached a low on Wednesday of $12.29 before it started to move upward again. The final price for last week was $12.82 which gave Ford investors a slight loss for the week.
