One of the vehicles that’s about to make its debut as the next model we’ll enjoy on the road is the Toyota Avalon. As the next generation model, we will see this car at the Detroit Auto Show in just a few short days to give us a look at what this car brings for the improvements we want to enjoy and admire in the large sedan from Toyota that feels a lot like a luxury model as it drives on the road. To get us in the mood for the upcoming model, Toyota has released a teaser video for us to enjoy.
This video gives us a look at the new directional taillights that will be part of what the Avalon has to offer us for the drive. This video is available on the Twitter account of Toyota if you want to have a look at it to see what these new rear lights will do when the turn signal is engaged to allow others to know where we plan to drive in our new model of the Toyota Avalon that will be part of the market in the 2019 model year.
What These Signals Offer
When the directional signals are engaged in the new Avalon the signal will light up and then fade back toward the middle. This action continues and looks impressive with the shape of a hockey stick on its side. These lights speed up the longer the signal is engaged and will remind you of the ones that are found on the Ford Mustang. With this action in the lights of the rear, there’s no reason for anyone to misunderstand your intentions on the road when you drive this car and use the signals to show where you plan to go.
This video offered by Toyota is the second of the teasers the team has given us for the Avalon. The first one showed us a look at a portion of the headlights and grill and it’s also available on the Twitter account for Toyota for you to take a look at and admire what this company has done with the new Avalon that we’re going to enjoy when it finally does hit the market. These two videos give us something special to look forward to when this car shows up in Detroit to cross the stage and allow us to full admire what it is.
The expectation is that the new Avalon will ride on a longer version of the Toyota New Global Architecture that already is in use in the new Camry that showed up for the 2018 model year. This is a platform that is going to be widely used by the Toyota brand for several different models that will make their way to the market over the next few years.
