We will have the benefit of seeing what the new Ford Fusion will be when it crosses the stage at the New York Auto Show later this month. This new model is slated to be part of the 2019 model year, and it will be offered for sale sometime in the summer. This newly updated sedan will be the first model from Ford that’s offered with the new standard Co-Pilot360 system. Because Ford will offer it as standard fare, all Fusion owners will be able to enjoy the benefits of automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, a rearview camera, and automatic high beams to help make sure you can be safe when you drive. These alerts and automatic systems will help you avoid a collision, which is one of the main goals of advanced safety technology that’s being included in the different vehicles we want to drive.

In addition to this incredible new package of items that will be offered, the new Fusion is also sleeker in the front and the rear to give you a new design you’re sure to admire. This car also adds new wheels and color choices to ensure you can have the look you want. There is a new rill with a five-bar design which is finished in chrome on the S, SE, and SEL models while a mesh grill will make its way to the Titanium trim level. You’ll see a new trunk lid panel, fog lamps, and LED taillights that make this Fusion even more attractive.
So far, we haven’t mentioned the hybrid model of the Fusion, but those who want to have the plug-in hybrid for the drive will like the fact the new Energi model offers up to 25 miles of electric driving range. This is an improvement of nearly twenty percent compared to the model we have on the market today. This means you’ll be able to make a longer drive when you have a full charge on the battery and enjoy an improvement in the overall efficiency of this car you want to drive.
