Looking to the Next Version: Ram 1500

Looking to the Next Version

We seem to be in a constant state of flux as we look at new models that are planned for future model years that typically make their way out on the road with a great deal of camouflage on them. When wearing the padded coverings or the black and white swirls, we’re left to try and determine what we think the new model will be or what it will offer. It’s a rare time when we see a vehicle that has no camo on it at all, but that becomes a wonderful treat for us to get an early look at a vehicle.
Recently, the 2019 version of the Ram 1500 was prowling around on the streets without a shred of the coverings on it that we’ve become accustomed to. This truck was driving around Michigan in the wind that blew the cover off, giving us a look at the slimmer appearance, the new design to the headlights, and a completely redesigned front grill. It’s almost as if the powers of nature wanted to make sure those driving around on the roads with this impressive truck were able to see what the future would hold for the new Ram and let us know what we would have for the drive.

The New Look

The new 2019 Ram 1500 will make its way to the 2018 Detroit Auto Show in the early part of next year to give us a full report of what this impressive new truck will be. In addition to the looks offered the spy shot captures showed a new metallic badge that showed the 1500 and the Hemi 5.7L words to let us know what this truck is being powered by and the size it is for the drive on the road and at the jobsite.

There seems to be a more complex design offered compared to the current Ram we enjoy with an appearance that’s not as smooth but offers a look that feels like this new version of the truck has been chiseled out of a large block of metal. This hardened appearance allows the new Ram to look and feel more athletic, at least from the initial look and feel of what this truck could be when it arrives on the market in the upcoming model years. We’re certainly going to want to learn more as this truck shows up in Detroit.

In the back of the truck, you’ll see a familiar look with the clean appearance and the large RAM badging that covers the tailgate. The taillights are heavy with LED accents to offers a much more impressive look and feel to this truck. There’s no doubt that this quick view of the new Ram 1500 that was the result of a gusty and windy day, captures our interest and makes us want to have a much closer look so that we can take this impressive model out for a drive and see the difference for ourselves.
