At the top of the power and performance structure for Mercedes-Benz are the AMG models that offer more power from under the hood, a more active suspension to ride on and the track-ready features you want to enjoy on the road. While you can take the Mercedes-AMG models to the track and experience an exceptional level of luxury to go with it. While these models are something special across the lineup for Mercedes-Benz, there is an even more powerful and fun way you can have the driving experience you’re looking for on the road and at the track.
A New Luxury Power Player
As we turn our attention to the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show we see one extremely impressive model cross the stage. This new model is the Mercedes-AMG E63 based Brabus 700 which is going to join the other Brabus model, the 9000 Rocket. Brabus is the German tuning company that Mercedes-Benz has used to show off what can be done with some of their models and give the Brabus company a way to improve the cars that sit atop the luxury market in most areas of the world.
The new 700 will use the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that will use a new ECU that provides you with more boost and injection than the model it’s based off. The upgrades added to the ECU make it possible for this car to reach up and make 691 horsepower and a full 701 lb.-ft. of torque which shows a significant increase from the 603 ponies and 627 lb.-ft. of torque found in the AMG E63 model. With these improvements, you’ll have the ability to reach sixty mph in less than 3.2 seconds and enjoy a top speed of 186 mph.
There’s More to the Look
The engine area isn’t all that’s been upgraded for this tuned up model from Brabus. This team of experts added several carbon aero components to the car which include a front lip spoiler, a large rear diffuser, side skirts and a rear decklid spoiler. This car rides on a new set of 21-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels that can be ordered in several different styles for the drive desired. There is also a lower stance to the car putting it 0.8 inches closer to the ground for the driving position you want to experience when you carve up the corners.
Brabus didn’t forget about the interior at all, they added carbon fiber trim to the inside along with aluminum pedals, aluminum paddle shifters and aluminum tread plates that make this sedan look and feel sportier than ever. While we don’t know what the price of this upgraded car will be, if you’re looking for an E Class that offers you more power and performance than what AMG can offer, this is the one that you want to consider. This package from Brabus can be ordered as a complete car or as different stages that can be applied separately to the car for your enjoyment.
